2011 Moonrock Benefit Horse Show
June 4th and 5th, 2011
This is a fun, low-key opportunity to practice show jumping and cross country.
A portion of the proceeds will be sent to Les Hamilton in memory of Lockie Hamilton!
THIS IS HOW WE RAISE MONEY TO MAINTAIN THE COURSE, SO COME RIDE LOTS OF ROUNDS!
– June 4th, 2011 - BEGINS AT 9:00 AM
with x-rails, at the Washakie County Fairgrounds.PRICE - $15 per ride, can ride 2 times per division if desired.
Divisions offered are:
1) - x-rails
2) – 2’
3) – 2’6”
4) – 3’
5) - 3’3”-3’6”

with horseback course walk, at Moonrock Equestrian Area. Course maps available at the start box.THE ORGANIZER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ADD CLASSES, CANCEL CLASSES, OR REFUSE ANY ENTRY, SOLELY AT THE ORGANIZERS DISCRETION.
STABLING - by request
. $20 a night at the Washakie County Fairgrounds. Please call Terri Thurman, (307) 431-6702 to reserve stabling. If you have additional needs (Friday night, etc), call me and I will do my best to accommodate. Bedding Available for $7.00 a bag.STABLING WILL BE MORE EXPENSIVE FOR THE HORSE TRIALS IN AUGUST – THIS IS FAIRGROUNDS POLICY. 2 BAGS OF BEDDING WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE COST OF STABLING DURING THE HORSE TRIALS.

I understand that jumping, in organized competition or for recreation, is a potentially risky and potentially dangerous sport. I hereby declare that I am participating in this activity entirely at my own risk. I hereby assume this risk and further do hereby release and hold harmless the organizer, organizing committee, judges, officials, volunteers, the hosts of the event, Washakie County, the Washakie County Fair, GWC/MSEA, Moonrock Equestrian Area Inc. and it's officers and volunteers, and my fellow competitors, from all liability, including any negligence, resulting in accidents, damage, injury, illness, and/or death, to myself and to my property, including the horse or horses which I will compete at this show and pair pace event. This release will be considered valid for this competition, for future competitions which may be hosted by the organizers, and for any time I may be on or near the Moonrock Equestrian Area itself.
I further understand and accept the limitations applied by Wyoming State Law, specifically the "Recreation Safety Act", (W.S. 1-1-121 through 1-1-123) that participants in recreation activities, particularly including equine activities, accept full responsibility for the inherent risks, dangers, and conditions which are characteristic of, intrinsic to, or an integral part of any sport or recreational opportunity.

Sunday, XC starts at 9:00 A.M. - Awards after each division
Divisions - Horse Trials: Open Training, Open Novice, Open Beginner Novice, Open Elementary - divisions will be split further if entries warrant.
All Horse Trials Divisions = $110.00 with opening day postmark, $130.00 after opening date
Combined Test: Open Training, Open Novice, Open Beginner Novice,
Open Elementary
All Combined Test Divisions - $55.00 with opening day postmark, $75.00 after opening date.
Tests - Horse Trials - Dressage test "a" for all divisions - Elementary division - Beginner Novice Test "a"
Combined Tests - Dressage test "b" for all divisions - Elementary division - Beginner Novice Test "b"
Stabling - $ 75.00 for duration, 2 bags of shavings included and you can leave them dirty. Use the USEA stabling form to request a stall.
